<p>Described is the application of an advanced oxidation method and system for treating municipal and/or industrial wastewater. Besides being innovative, the process presents an improved removal of the organic pollutants by being degraded and/or demineralized, also being advantageous in that it can be directly used with high loads of COD, i.e., wastewater containing biodegradable and non-biodegradable matter; in addition, the treatment time is reduced and has a decrease in the production of residual sludge, unlike conventional treatments, in this manner, the electrochemical-ozonation treatment being an alternative as advanced oxidation process which improves the quality of the water and therefore the quality of the life in our planet.</p> |
