PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source for illumination with superb light distribution characteristics and easy assembling works.SOLUTION: The light source is provided with LEDs 30 as semiconductor light-emitting elements with a plurality of them circularly arranged on a front face 44 as the main face of a base pedestal 14, and a light guide body 26 having light-incident faces 80 facing light-emitting parts of the LEDs 30. The light guide body 26, formed in a state facing the incident faces, is formed of a first interface part 90 of a circular shape and a second interface part 92 formed in extension from an end part of the first interface part 90, of which, the first interface part 90 transmits a part of light (L2) incident inside from the incident face toward outside front, and at the same time, reflects another part of light (L3) toward the second interface part 92, and the second interface part 92 reflects a part of reflected light (L3) from the first interface part 90 rearward aslant in order to avoid the front face 44 of the base pedestal 14. |
