<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antistatic agent which, when added to a coating composition, exhibits high solubility in a resin, various monomers, an organic solvent, etc., as components in the composition, and can impart excellent antistatic property to the coating composition by light doping, and a coating composition using the antistatic agent. <P>SOLUTION: The antistatic agent contains as an essential component a quaternary ammonium salt having a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring represented by general formula (1), wherein Rf represents a fluorinated organic group such as a fluorinated alkyl group; (A) represents a divalent organic group; R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>represent a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom forming a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>form a heterocyclic ring with a quaternary nitrogen atom to which R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>bond, through a divalent organic group, where the heterocyclic ring may further be condensed with another ring to form a condensed ring; R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>represents a 1-3C alkyl group; and X<SP POS="POST">-</SP>represents an anion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
