A cabin for wellbeing treatments comprises a containment structure (2) whose inside forms a compartment (3) and which is equipped with an access opening (4) with which a door (5) is associated, movable between a closed position and an open position; means (6) for heating and/or means (7) for supplying steam in the compartment (3); and a check and control unit (11) for the heating means (6) and/or the steam supplying means (7); finally, at least one sensor (12) is associated with the door (5) for detecting whether or not the door (5) is positioned in or near to the closed position, and for sending a corresponding signal to the check and control unit (11) which is programmed to disable operation respectively of the heating means (6) and/or of the steam supplying means (7) either every time it receives from the sensor (12) a signal indicating that the door (5) is not positioned in the closed position, or when it receives from the sensor a signal indicating that the door (5) is not positioned in the closed position which lasts continuously at least for a predetermined period of time. |
