<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding device and a guiding method that enable an unmanned running vehicle to reach its target point accurately even if it is a place where a GPS cannot be used. <P>SOLUTION: A guiding device derives at step 102 the current position of an unmanned running vehicle from a plurality of indicated points P<SB POS="POST">n</SB>designated from a photographed image shot with a camera on the unmanned running vehicle and a plurality of indicated points Q<SB POS="POST">n</SB>designated from a travel map two-dimensionally showing a travel area in which the unmanned running vehicle travels and, when the total of accumulated errors in measurement by measuring means reaches a prescribed value while the unmanned running vehicle is autonomously running from the derived current position toward a target point, the guiding device again derives at step 116 the current position of the unmanned running vehicle from a plurality of indicated points P<SB POS="POST">n</SB>designated from a photographed image shot anew with the camera on the unmanned running vehicle and the plurality of indicated points Q<SB POS="POST">n</SB>designated from the travel map. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
