The present invention relates to a system and method for processing vehicle information. According to the present invention, the system for processing vehicle information is configured to comprise the following elements: at least one of electronic control unit (ECU) constituting a vehicle internal network; a vehicle information collection device coupled to the vehicle internal network for collecting the vehicle information from the ECU; a vehicle information relaying device for receiving the vehicle information via near field wireless communication with the vehicle information collection device; and a vehicle information management server for receiving the vehicle information via broadband wireless communication with the vehicle information relaying device.
