<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic coin transfer device, for a first purpose of making it simple in construction and inexpensive without requiring a feeding rotor and a delivery device for classifying and delivering coins, and for a second purpose of preventing the coins from being pinched between a rod-like spiral body and another component. <P>SOLUTION: A coin received in a receiving port rolls through a coin passage which is inclined forward and downward. When a gate device 110 disposed in the coin passage is located in a passing phase of the coin, the rolling coin reaches a spiral body 104 without being inhibited from rolling by the gate device. The coin which reached the spiral body is lifted up by an oblique pushing face of a spiral protrusion 118. In this case, the coin is guided by a guide passage so that the coin does not rotate in the rotative direction of the spiral body and is moved only in an extension direction along the spiral body. When the coin moved by rotation of the spiral body faces a delivery passage, the coin rolls through the delivery passage by gravity and is delivered from an exit toward a next device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
