<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner that allows an antibacterial agent to be attached and replaced without removing a drain pan and reduces time and effort for work. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: an evaporator 2 for exchanging heat with air to evaporate a refrigerant in a vessel; a drain pan 4 for receiving condensed water produced on the outer surface of the evaporator 2; a drain pump 3 for pumping the condensed water in the drain pan 4; a socket 9 with an exhaust port that is formed in the drain pan 4 to make a deepest part 22 inside the drain pan 4 communicate with the outside; a cap body 7 that is attached to the exhaust port of the socket 9 in attachable and detachable manner; and an antibacterial agent that is attached onto the inside of the drain pan of the cap body 7 attached to the exhaust port. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
