A curved bullet-proof composite comprising:
a glass or glass-ceramic external strike-face layer having been subjected to an ion exchange process and which is mechanically curved; at least one glass or glass-ceramic intermediate layer; an internal plastic layer; and an adhesive material between the strike-face layer, the at least one intermediate layer and the internal plastic layer.

1. A curved bullet-proof composite comprising:
a. one or more Alkali Aluminosilicate or Soda-Lime Silicate glass strike-face layers having been subjected to an ion exchange process to obtain enough flexibility to be mechanically curved, having a thickness less or equal to 3 mm; b. one or more glass Borosilicate or Soda-Lime Silicate intermediate layers having a thickness ranging between 5 and 13 mm; c. one or more internal plastic layers having a thickness ranging between 1 and 20 mm; and d. one more adhesive layers between the strike-face layers, intermediate layers and internal plastic layers, having a thickness ranging from 0.3 and 3.1 mm; wherein the glass strike-face layers and the intermediate layers are comprised by materials with different dilatometric softening points; and wherein the curved bullet-proof composite complies with National Institute of Justice Standard NIJ 0108.01 level III A.
