PURPOSE: A rack bar supporting structure is provided to prevent the play of a rack bushing in an axial direction by changing the shape of a rack bushing protrusion. CONSTITUTION: A rack bar supporting structure comprises a rack tube and a rack bushing(30). Into the rack tube, the rack bar is inserted. The rack bushing is inserted into the rack tube. In the inner circumference of the rack tube, a groove(39a) into which the protrusion(35) of the rack bushing is inserted is formed. The sidewall of the groove supporting the side of the protrusion has a tapered form. |
