The present invention provides a method for enabling a user to easily input characters using nine key buttons in a TV remote controller and to easily search, as well as realizes an eyes-free remote controller which is a core element of a TV. An input method of the remote controller using nine key buttons provides an input method suitable for performing a hub function in a ubiquitous age by securing convenience, speed, and accuracy according to the fixation of a screen.
