摘要 Disclosed is a synchronization error detecting method. According to the present invention, the synchronization error detecting method for a four-stroke engine having multiple cylinders and not having a cam sensor comprises: a segment setting step of setting segments of equal range for each of the cylinders during two revolutions of a crank shaft by counting teeth after a first long tooth; a phase signal generating step of generating a phase signal in the power stroke of a first cylinder among the cylinders; a virtual signal activating step of activating a virtual signal when the phase signal is generated; a virtual signal deactivating step of deactivating the virtual signal after a second long tooth as the next long tooth signal of the first long tooth; an activation detecting step of detecting whether the virtual signal is activated or not when a segment 0 is converted into a segment 1 among the segments, and detecting whether the virtual signal is deactivated or not when a segment 2 is converted into a segment 3 among the segments; and an error estimating step of estimating a synchronization error according to whether the virtual signal is detected to be activated or not and deactivated or not in the activation detecting step. According to the present invention, the synchronization error detecting method is capable of detecting the synchronization error in the engine not having the cam sensor, thereby preventing an increase in the emission of exhaust gas and deterioration in drivability which are caused by inappropriate fuel injection timing and ignition timing.
