The present invention relates to a method for producing lube base oil by alkylation reaction of hydrocarbons, and more specifically, a method for producing lube base oil of high quality by using peroxide which is a radical initiator without adding olefin and performing alkylation reaction of isoparaffin-containing hydrocarbon feedstock. According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a method for producing lube base oil of high quality by performing alkylation reaction of isoparaffin-containing feedstock without adding olefin.
