<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support imaging setting in the case of using an area type imaging element as a line camera.SOLUTION: An image processing system includes: an imaging device for imaging an imaging object; and an image processing device connected to the imaging device. The imaging device comprises: an area type imaging element having a plurality of pixels arranged two-dimensionally; area control means for acquiring a two-dimensional image from the plurality of pixels; and line control means for acquiring a one-dimensional image from a previously designated specific pixel string of the plurality of pixels. The image processing device performs switching so as to start up either of the area control means and line control means. The image processing device comprises: an input unit 31 for fetching an image acquired by the imaging device; an index acquisition unit 33 for acquiring an index value for evaluating an imaging state on a specific pixel string from an acquired two-dimensional image; and an output unit 34 for outputting the two-dimensional image and acquired index value.</p> |
