PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FFS (fringe field switching) mode liquid crystal display panel in which a resistance value of a common electrode having a slit opening is decreased and thereby, flickers or crosstalk are decreased.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display panel 10A includes: a pixel electrode 25 which is formed in each pixel region segmented by a plurality of scanning lines 19 and signal lines 22 on a surface of an interlayer film 24 and is formed of a transparent conductive material; an inter-electrode insulating film 27 which is formed on the pixel electrode 25 and on the interlayer film 24 in a display region; and a common electrode 28 which is formed entirely over the inter-electrode insulating film 27, has a plurality of slits 31 formed therein in each pixel region, and is formed of a transparent conductive material electrically connected to a common wiring line. A conductive layer 29a having higher conductivity than that of the transparent conductive material constituting the common electrode 28 is formed on a surface of the common electrode 28 or between the common electrode 28 and the inter-electrode insulating film 27, at a position overlapping the scanning line 19 or the signal line 22 in a plan view. |
