PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to ensure supplying electric power to desired air conditioning facilities when the power is supplied to the air conditioning facilities with the power generated by an engine at a time of blackout.SOLUTION: An air conditioning system comprising: an outdoor unit 2 that includes a compressor 12 and an outdoor heat exchanger; and indoor units 3a and 3b each including an indoor heat exchanger, the outdoor unit 2 including a gas engine 10 driving the compressor 12; a generator 11 driven by the gas engine 10, and a system interconnection inverter 33 outputting power generated in the generator 11 to a commercial system 36, comprises a power supply switching board 52 switching a system over between the commercial system 36 and a self-sustained operation circuit 57. Loads including the indoor units 3a and 3b are connected to this power supply switching board 52, and the generated power is used to allow the outdoor unit 2 and the loads connected to the power supply switching board 52 to perform self-sustained operation at a time of blackout. |
