<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a liquid crystal display device of the conventional FFS system easily generates image persistence due to influences of residual charge when a bottom electrode serves as a pixel electrode.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 100 comprises a pixel 30 that includes scan wiring 2, signal wiring 5, a bottom electrode 6 connected to a drain electrode 51 of a TFT, and an upper electrode 8 arranged on an upper layer of the bottom electrode via a protective film 7. In a non-light-transmissive region where the upper electrode 8 is not formed, a second contact hole 12 is provided in the protective film 7 above a conductive pattern 55 having the same potential as the bottom electrode 6, the protective film 7 is removed, and the bottom electrode 6 and the drain electrode 51 are directly and electrically connected to each other on a lower layer of the protective film 7.</p> |
