A liquid crystal display screen, which is provided with a plurality of pixel units, wherein each pixel unit is provided with a plurality of subpixel units for displaying different colours, and a monochromic quantum dot layer (01) is arranged in a position corresponding to a subpixel unit for displaying at least one colour of each pixel unit. The liquid crystal display screen has the advantages that the colour gamut of the liquid crystal display screen is improved, the colour saturation is enhanced, the display quality is improved, and the service life of a quantum dot is lengthened.
