PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily suppress degradation of an image which occurs due to an installation error of a head in a liquid ejection apparatus including a plurality of heads.SOLUTION: In a liquid ejection apparatus comprising a first head unit in which first, second and third heads are arrayed in a prescribed direction, a correction value acquisition method has: a process of forming a first pattern on a first medium by the first head and the second head; a process of forming a second pattern on a second medium by the second head and the third head; a process of acquiring a first read result that an image reading apparatus read the first medium and a second read result that the apparatus read the second medium; a process of acquiring a first deviation amount of a dot forming position of the first head with respect to a dot forming position of the second head in a direction crossing the prescribed direction based on the first read result; a process of acquiring a second deviation amount of a dot forming position of the third head with respect to the dot forming position of the second head in a crossing direction based on the second read result; and a process of acquiring a correction value for correcting the first deviation amount and the second deviation amount. |
