PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of, when merging right and left parallax values in a manner of stereo matching, accurately calculating a merged parallax value even when one parallax value is improper.SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a stereo matching section that acquires right and left parallax images respectively in a manner of stereo matching based on a pair of images taken by right and left cameras; a filter processing section that performs a filter processing on the parallax images; and a first merge part that compares the parallax values at the positions corresponding to right and left the parallax images on the parallax images after the filter processing and merges the parallax values of the right and left parallax images based on comparison result.
