The present invention relates to a dishwasher having a structure of spraying washing water evenly to the inside of a washing container. The dishwasher includes a cabinet forming the appearance of the dishwasher; a washing container provided in the cabinet and in which dishes are washed; a dish basket provided in the washing container and accommodating dishes; a spraying unit spraying washing water into the washing container; a converting unit provided inside a passage of a washing water to convert the direction of the washing water sprayed from the spraying unit; at least one guide member combined to one side of the converting unit to make the converting unit movable inside the washing container. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a blind site where the washing water does not reach is eliminated due to the converting unit added to the spraying unit, thereby enabling splitting and intensive cleaning in the washing container.
