Positioning System and the Method

The present invention relates to a positioning system and method to reduce errors which occur during positioning by a satellite navigation system. Provided is the positioning system merged with the satellite navigation system and a vision system. The present invention provides the merged positioning system capable of positioning more accurately by providing an algorithm to allow object usage information recognized through the vision system if the error of the position determined by the satellite navigation system is expected to be large; for example, if an altitude angle of a satellite sending a GPS signal is small.
