PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device in which the capacity and the boiling performance of a hot water tank is secured using a bar-like heater without reducing the width of the hot water tank. SOLUTION: This sanitary washing device includes a washing nozzle 211 which is disposed at the inside center of a casing 200 installed at the rear upper side of a toilet bowl with the longitudinal direction positioned in the front and rear direction when viewed from above and which advances toward the bowl of the toilet bowl, and the hot water tank 220 which has the bar-like heater 222 for heating the water supplied to the washing nozzle 211 to make hot water and which stores the hot water. The casing 200 has an internal space laterally divided into two sections by the washing nozzle 211. The hot water tank 220 is disposed in one of the two sections of the internal space along the side surface, rear surface, or front surface of the casing 200. The heater 222 is fixed to the corners of the hot water tank 220 at both ends, and disposed so that the axial direction thereof is aligned with the diagonal line of the internal space when viewed from above.
