1. A drivetrain for a saw assembly, comprising:
a housing defining an interior space; a motor positioned in said housing and having a motor shaft, said motor being configured to rotate said motor shaft about a first axis; a worm gear positioned in said housing and having a worm gear shaft, wherein rotation of said motor shaft causes rotation of said worm gear shaft; a drive member operatively coupled to said worm gear, wherein rotation of said worm gear shaft causes movement of said drive member in a repeating pattern; wherein said worm gear shaft includes a bore structure defining a blind bore and an opening leading to said blind bore, wherein said bore structure defines a set of internal threads that are spaced apart from said opening, wherein said motor shaft includes a set of external threads, and wherein said set of external threads are located within said blind bore and meshingly engaged with said set of internal threads so as to couple said worm gear shaft to said motor shaft.
