<p>The present invention relates to a flame holder apparatus capable of igniting and maintaining a flame during a multi-sport event such as the Olympics, the Asian games, the National sports festivals, etc., wherein the flame holder apparatus comprises: a flame holder having an automatic opening and closing door in the ceiling thereof having a housing space therein; a plurality of column sculptures housed in the housing space, having predetermined figures carved in the bodies thereof, having flame pots installed on the tops of the bodies thereof connected to a gas supply pipe, and allowing the flames to be ignited therein arranged to be separated from each other in parallel; elevating units installed on the lower sides of the column sculptures, and elevating the column sculptures through the length extensions of the link members; rotating units installed between the column sculptures and the elevating units, and rotating the column sculptures when rotating the gears by the operations of the motors; and horizontal moving units installed in the lower sides of the elevating units, and horizontally moving the elevating units through rail members on a floor. According to the present invention, the flame holder apparatus is capable of separating or integrating the flames in the flame holder repetitively during the event, and rotating and moving the atypical column sculptures continuously, kinetically, and repetitively such that the attentions of the participants and spectators can be concentrated, the symbolic effect and the atmosphere of the event can be improved when the figures in the respective column sculptures can be combined to shape and express words, logos, and images symbolizing the event, the diversity of the participants from various countries with different cultures and sentiments and the integrated value of wishes to be one can be expressed along with each other, and the flame holder apparatus can permanently be exhibited as a symbolic structure commemorating the event after the end of the event.</p> |
