An atomic oscillator, a control method of the atomic oscillator and a quantum interference apparatus are provided in which high frequency stability can be maintained even though EIT signal intensity changes.

1. A quantum interference apparatus comprising:
a control signal output section which outputs a frequency-modulated control signal; a light generation section which produces a first light beam and a second light beam in which frequency difference with the first light beam is according to the frequency of the control signal; an atom to which a resonant light beam pair configured of the first light beam and the second light beam is irradiated and which produces an electromagnetically induced transparency phenomenon; a light detection section which detects the light beam passed through the atom; a frequency controller which controls the frequency of the control signal, based on the detection signal of the light detection section; and a maximum frequency deviation controller which controls maximum frequency deviation of the control signal, according to the detection signal of the light detection section.
