The present invention relates to a carbon fiber precursor fiber for a large tow, which has proper surface roughness and density by changing temperature and residence time in a hot water extending process. Thus, the carbon fiber precursor fiber for a large tow can improve focusing and opening properties of a precursor fiber which causes problems in large tow carbon fiber manufacturing and complex material processing processes. |
