Provided in the present invention are a flexible display substrate which is characterized by being a substrate having transparent resin layers formed on both sides of a glass fiber sheet, wherein the transparent resin layers contain a surfactant, and a method for manufacturing the same. The flexible display substrate has the transparent resin layers containing the surfactant to make a postprocess of forming a planarization layer and/or a barrier layer easy.
