Provided are a device and a method for displaying an execution result of an application. The method for displaying an execution result of an application comprises the steps of: displaying execution results of a plurality of applications, which are being executed in a device, on a plurality of windows displayed in at least two modes, in response to a user input; displaying the windows on a display unit by arranging the windows, which display the execution results of the applications, adjacent to each other; receiving the user input in a state in which the windows are displayed on the display unit; and scrolling the windows in response to the user input.
