The present invention is relates to a method to connect short range communications in an electronic device and an electronic device. More specifically, the said invention relates to a method to connect short range communications in an electronic device capable of selectively exchanging information with an information server and an electronic device. In order to achieve the purpose, the method to connect short range communications in an electronic device can comprise the following steps of: detecting a second piece of identification information indicating a service place of a service provider from a search information received from a first external device; and connecting communications with the first external device using network information on the first external device stored in the electronic device when the detected second piece of identification information exists in the electronic device.
