A coupling device (1) for coupling a container (10) to a second container (14) or to a mounting provided with a counterpart, which coupling device (1) comprises an engagement part (2), which can be fastened to the lower corner piece (11) of the container (10), a guide part (3) for rotating the coupling device (1) around the axis of rotation (4), when the guide part (3) is fitted in the upper corner piece (15) of the second container (10) or to the counterpart of the mounting, and is released from the upper corner piece (15) or from the counterpart, and a connecting part (5), which connects the engagement part (2) and the guide part (3). The connecting part (5) comprises a support surface (6), which is arranged to support itself on the edge of the hole (12) in the lower corner piece of the container (10) for moving the container in horizontal direction, when the guide part (3) is fitted in the upper corner piece (15) of the second container (14) or to the counterpart of the mounting and is released from the upper corner piece (15) or from the counterpart. |
