METHOD AND DEVICE FOR HIGH PURITY HYDROGEN GENERATION WITH FIXED CATALYST

<p>The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for consecutively generating high purity hydrogen by a sorption enhanced water gas shift (SEWGS) reaction using a carbon absorbent circulating in the apparatus and a water gas shift catalyst fixed in a water gas shift reactor from synthetic gas generated by the gasification of hydrocarbon fuels. The present invention is able to reduce catalyst costs since one kind of a water gas shift catalyst is used and is able to improve the efficiency of the apparatus by increasing the capacity of the carbon absorbent since the water gas shift catalyst is not induced to a regeneration reactor.</p>
