Disclosed is a current and potential measuring device connected to a natural gas pipeline by a wire and wirelessly connected to an RTU device. The current and potential measuring device comprises a terminal block connected to the natural gas pipeline by the wire; a potential converter for converting and outputting potential inputted through the terminal block; a current converter for converting and outputting current inputted through the terminal block; a display part for displaying information; a communication part for performing a wireless communication function; and a control chipset for displaying the potential and current values outputted from the potential converter and the current converter, and controlling to transmit the potential and current values to the RTU device. The present invention can prevent influences on the RTU device even through surge is introduced into the natural gas pipeline, and can reduce the exploration time of a defect cause section by measuring and collecting the potential and current of the gas pipeline.
