FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: device for leukocyte removal from blood or its components comprises connecting pipes, containers for the filtered blood product collection, and a filter comprising a body, a lid and a filter unit. The filter unit consists of five filter elements with each following filter element, except for the last one, having pores the diameter of which is less than the diameter of the pores of the previous filter element. The first filter element is made from a plain-weaved synthetic fabric having the pores of the diameter of 150-300 mcm. The second filter element is made from a non-woven fibrous material and has the pores with the size of 10-150 mcm. The third and fourth filter elements are made of a polysulphonic fibre or a non-woven fibrous fabric containing cellulose fibres with the third filter element having the pores of 4-100 mcm, while the fourth one has the pores of 2-60 mcm. The fifth filter element is made from a plain-weaved synthetic fabric and fulfils a support function, thereby forming a liquid gap between the same and the body; it has the pores greater than the fourth filter element and making 20-60 mcm.EFFECT: invention provides high velocity of blood filtration with reducing filtration blood loss.4 cl, 2 dwg |
