PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of a snatch and improve promptness in capture of a criminal person at the occurrence of a crime while minimizing the occurrences of problems such as invasion of privacy.SOLUTION: A control device uses range-finding data given from a laser radar device installed along a life road which is a monitoring object of a crime prevention system, acquires object information of objects present in its detection area, and classifies the objects present in the detection area into pedestrians and vehicles from the object information. When both the pedestrian and the vehicle are present in the detection area, the control device determines whether or not there is the possibility of movement of a pedestrian and a vehicle each other to the same position at the same time, on the basis of movement track information thereof. When it is determined that there is the possibility, the control device sets the pedestrian (sufferer candidate object) and the vehicle (perpetrator candidate object) as monitoring objects. The control device controls operation of a monitoring camera and photographs the area including the pedestrian set as a monitoring object. |
