PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel crystalline polymorphic form of 6-[2-(methylcarbamoyl)phenylsulfanyl]-3-E-[2-(pyridin-2-yl)ethenyl]indazole, and to provide methods for preparing the same.SOLUTION: This invention relates to: a crystalline form that has a powder X-ray diffraction pattern comprising a peak at a diffraction angle (2θ) of 6.0±0.1 and further comprising at least one peak at a diffraction angle (2θ) selected from 11.5±0.1, 21.0±0.1 and 26.9±0.1; methods for preparing the same; and pharmaceutical compositions containing at least one polymorphic form.
