PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LNG fuel supply system which supplies LNG after termination of a standby mode without separately requiring cool-down operation and achieves stable operation of an engine, and to provide a method of driving the same.SOLUTION: An LNG fuel supply system includes: a fuel supplying line 21 connected from an LNG storage tank 10 to an engine 20; a boosting pump 131 which is provided on the fuel supplying line 21, pressurizes the LNG discharged from the LNG storage tank 10 and is cooled down in a standby mode; a high-pressure pump 132 for pressurizing under high pressure the LNG discharged from the boosting pump 131; and a recovery line connected between the LNG storage tank 10 and the high-pressure pump 132 and recovering the LNG at the upstream side. The recovery line recovers the LNG from the high-pressure pump 132 to the LNG storage tank 10 when the boosting pump 131 performs cool-down operation. |
