<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence on a shaft supporting portion when a supporting member for supporting a shaft provided on a steering device is fixed by pressing-in.SOLUTION: In an axial direction of an end case 80, a position of a bush supporting portion 83 and a position of a press-in fixing portion 82 are made to be different. In that case, a load (a diametrical load) applied on the buch supporting portion 83 from the outside in a diametrical direction of an end case 80 is reduced. In a diametrical direction of a rack shaft 24, a clearance 70 is formed between an outer peripheral surface of the bush supporting portion 83 and an inner peripheral surface of a gear housing 10. Therefore, the diametrical load can be further reduced.</p> |
