<p>In one example of the present invention, an antimicrobial material for use as a mobile-device protecting cover is provided, the material comprising: a base material comprising a fabric material selected from a woven article processed so as to have a pile on one side or a knitted article processed so as to have a pile on one side, and comprising an antimicrobial-agent layer formed on the pile-processed side or on both sides of the fabric material; and a hot melt adhesive formed on the base material, on that surface from among the two surfaces thereof which is on the other side to the surface processed so as to have the pile. The antimicrobial material for use as a mobile-device protecting cover according to the present invention has highly outstanding antimicrobial properties while at the same time being able to minimise scratching of an image-display part of the mobile device even if directly touching the image-display part. In addition, the antimicrobial material for use as a mobile-device protecting cover according to the present invention has good weather resistance and dimensional stability and hence can maintain the original state for a long time.</p> |
