The present invention provides: a nonaqueous electrolyte solution which is capable of improving electrochemical characteristics over a wide temperature range; and an electricity storage device which uses this nonaqueous electrolyte solution. (1) A nonaqueous electrolyte solution which is obtained by dissolving an electrolyte salt in a nonaqueous solvent, and which is characterized by containing, as an additive, an SO4 group-containing compound having a specific structure. (2) An electricity storage device which is provided with a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution that is obtained by dissolving an electrolyte salt in a nonaqueous solvent, and which is characterized in that the nonaqueous electrolyte solution contains, as an additive, an SO4 group-containing compound having a specific structure in an amount of 0.001% by mass or more but less than 5% by mass. |
