PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a check valve for a coolant which isolates an elastic member to prevent the elastic member from contacting with chips and abrasive grain etc.SOLUTION: A check valve 1 for a coolant includes: a hollow cylindrical housing 2; a cup shaped valve 3 which slides in the housing 2; a fluid communication passage 35 which is disposed in the valve 3 and circulates a fluid from the upstream side to the downstream side; and a fluid communication hole 32 where an outer peripheral wall surface 3A communicates with the fluid communication passage 35. The fluid communication passage 35 is opened and closed by sliding the valve 3. A flange part 31 is formed at an entire periphery of the outer peripheral wall surface 3A in the valve 3. One end part 7B of an elastic member 7 contacts with the flange part 31. The other end part 7A of the elastic member 7 contacts with an elastic member contact part 64 of a cap 6 connected with the housing 2. Further, the elastic member 7 is formed in a space among the outer peripheral wall surface 3A, an inner peripheral wall surface 24 of the housing 2, and the flange part 31. |
