A server (110) for controlling delivery of a message via a communication network (150) from a message provider (130) to a communication terminal (120) is provided. The terminal presents the message if a location of the communication terminal determined by a positioning unit (307) comprised in the communication terminal is included in a destination area (210) of the message. The server includes an obtaining unit (406) configured to obtain a delivery requirement for the message; and a control unit (409, 410) configured to request the communication terminal to perform a positioning operation so as to meet the delivery requirement. The delivery requirement includes an accuracy requirement for acceptable geographical error between the destination area and an actual location of the communication terminal that presents the message. Accuracy of the positioning unit is changed so as to meet the accuracy requirement in accordance with the request from the control unit.
