PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently control the number of heat pumps according to a hot water usage load in a water supply and heating system including a plurality of heat pumps.SOLUTION: A water supply and heating system comprises a plurality of heat pumps 12. Each heat pump 12 pumps up heat from a heat source fluid passing through an evaporator 16 and heats water flowing to the condenser 14 from a water supply path 8. On the basis of a water level of a water supply tank 4, the number of operating heat pumps 12 and power are changed. A compressor 13 in each heat pump 12 is controlled by an inverter, and the heat pump operates first at a lower frequency than a frequency during full load operation. If the operation does not satisfy the use load, other heat pumps 12 that stop operating are activated to operate at the set frequency without increasing the power of the operating heat pumps. |
