<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easily and at low cost a porous carrier which has a strength enough to purify an antibody or the like in large scale and under a high linear velocity and of which the adsorption amount of a purification target object is large, an adsorbent for purification using the same, a manufacturing method of the same and a purification method using the same.SOLUTION: A porous carrier, an adsorbent for purification using the same, a manufacturing method of the same and a purification method using the same are disclosed. Regarding the porous carrier, a compression stress under compression of 5% is 0.01 MPa or more and 1 MPa or less, a compression stress under compression of 10% is 0.03 MPa or more and 3 MPa or less and a compression stress under compression of 15% is 0.06 MPa or more and 5 MPa or less. A strength of the porous carrier can be increased by action of two or more functionalities of a long-chain crosslinking agent. An antibody or the like can be purified in large scale, at high speed and at low cost.</p> |
