<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element which can inhibit decrease in resistance while inhibiting decrease in light-extraction efficiency.SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting element 1 comprises: a first semiconductor layer 19a; a semiconductor laminate 19 in which an active layer 19c and a second semiconductor layer 19b are laminated; a plurality of projections 151 which pierce the second semiconductor layer 19b and the active layer 19c; a first electrode 15 connected to the first semiconductor layer 19a via the projections 151; a second electrode 17 connected to the second semiconductor layer 19b on an undersurface of the second semiconductor layer 19b; and an insulation film 16 between the projections 151 and the semiconductor laminate 19. The projections 151 each include a projection body part 151a covered with the insulation film 16, and a projection tip part 151b having a top face and a lateral face which are exposed on the projection body part 151 and from the insulation film 16. The first semiconductor layer 19a includes recesses 191 on a top face of the first semiconductor layer 19a to sandwich the first region on the projection 151, and a distance between the recesses 191 is larger than a width of the projection tip part 151b.</p> |
