PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of achieving a novel game performance while observing restriction imposed on determination processing relating to winning/losing for a big winning. SOLUTION: The game machine includes: pessimistic preceding performance means for, after the establishment of a start condition, determining whether or not a performance condition to be established when at least a winning condition is established before the establishment of the start condition and a special condition for executing control to a special game state more advantageous to a player than usual after the end of a profit granting state is not established is established, and suggesting that control to the profit granting state is to be executed and control to the special game state is not to be executed when it is determined that the performance condition is established during the special game state; and pseudo pessimistic preceding performance means for giving a pseudo suggestion that the control to the profit granting state is to be executed and the control to the special game state is not to be executed when it is determined that the performance condition is not established during the special game state. The novel game performance is achieved while observing the restriction imposed on the determination processing relating to the presence/absence of the winning condition.
