Folding type electric wheelchair

The present invention relates to a foldable electric wheelchair that can adjust the height of a seat and improve transportation storage, and loading properties. The foldable electric wheelchair includes at least two pair of wheels symmetrically provided at both sides; a driving frame for driving the wheels; a seat frame positioned on an upper portion of the driving frame to support a human body of an occupant; a support shaft having a first stage hinged to the seat frame and a second stage hinged to the driving frame; and a support rotating unit for rotating the support shaft so that the seat frame is selectively positioned at a first position in which the bottom surface of the seat frame comes into contact with the top surface of the driving frame, and a second position in which the seat frame is positioned at a given height from the top surface of the driving frame.
