A distribution board for preventing flash trouble by an electrical short includes: an optical fiber cable for detecting an arc generated when an electrical short of a bus or a line-to-ground fault occurs; an arc detection transmitting/receiving module including a transmitter provided to one end of the optical fiber cable to transmit an optical signal through the optical fiber cable and to convert the transmitted optical signal into a first pulse signal, and a receiver provided to the other end of the optical fiber cable to receive an optical signal through the optical fiber cable and to convert the received optical signal into a second pulse signal; at least one arc sensor for sensing the arc to generate an arc sensing signal and to transmit the arc sensing signal; at least one modulator for sensing an abnormal voltage or current in the distribution board for preventing flash trouble to generate an abnormal signal representing an instantaneous value of the abnormal voltage or current to transmit the instantaneous value; a microprocessor for receiving a pulse signal from the arc sensing transmitting/receiving module, the arc sensing signal from the arc sensor and the abnormal signal from the modulator, and for analyzing the received pulse signal, arc sensing signal and abnormal signal to determine whether an arc trouble occurs; an electronic circuit dualizing module for generating and transmitting a trip signal when the microprocessor determines that the arc trouble occurs; and a breaker for receiving the trip signal from the electronic circuit dualizing module to perform a blocking operation. |
