The present invention relates to a filter for purifying muddy water generated in a construction field and, more specifically, to a high speed fiber filter for treating muddy water, which purifies muddy water introduced through an inlet port at a high filtration speed, and discharges the purified water through an outlet port by filling an upper filter and a lower filter with a medium formed by twisting polypropylene and nylon. As such, the high speed fiber filter for treating muddy water introduced by the present invention comprises an upper cap having an inlet port at the upper part to introduce muddy water; an upper distribution plate provided under the upper cap to distribute a stream of muddy water introduced through the inlet port; an upper filter filled with a medium so as to purify the muddy water under the upper distribution plate; a lower filter formed under the upper filter in the same manner as the upper filter, and filled with a medium; a lower distribution plate provided under the lower filter to prevent the medium within the lower filter from being discharged; and a lower cap having an outlet port so as to discharge the purified water under the lower distribution plate.
