[Class 39 (ii)] In a miner's lamp having two light sources, which may be separate bulbs 1, 32 or a twin filament bulb, one fed from mains supply through a plug - and - socket connection and the other fed from an accumulator in the base 11 and automatically switched on when the mains supply is disconnected, the plug connector 16 and the automatic switch 24 for the battery lamp are housed in a chamber 9 of the same overall dimensions as the lamp and located between the lamp proper and the accumulator case. |
